Computer Graphics Course / Curso de Computación Gráfica

My ears were waiting for Miguel Angel (aka Mike) coming to my office and confirm what I have heard one day walking by the halls of University, and today before leaving home due to this became reality. And yes, Dr. Claudio Delrieux, from Argentina, Post-Doctorate in Computer Graphics, will come to my university to teach a computer graphics course. I was epically drooling as his voice sounded like music to my ears. 


What would I learn in that course? Simple! Topics such as: 


Basic algorithms (lines, circles, polygons). 
MODELS OF REPRESENTATION OF 2D AND 3D OBJECTS 
COLOR IN COMPUTER GRAPHICS. 
OPENGL 
Representation models of 3D objects.
Lighting models.
REAL TIME GRAPHICS. 
RENDERING. 
Radiosity. 
INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMABLE HARDWARE GRAPHIC. 
Software Platform for GPU. 


And many others that still echo in my head. So far so perfect, was flying on a happiness could, and the course is too cheap, taking into account the quality of the Professor... Only $200,000! About U$D100! I know I don't have the money, but would do everything possible to get it... And Mike tells me that the course begins the 16th and ends on October 24th! And I will be the 17th in Bogota for TOEFL! I wanted to die! *flails* 


However, I made a few calls, and most likely I will move up my trip to Bogota to take the test on 17 and return the same day by plane. I would miss the first two days of class but damn ...! I HAVE to do this course! 


I'm so excited ...! I see this course as an opportunity, a little light to start working on what I really like my career I (And because of what I see, the only thing that really excites me about it). The thrill of doing it, awoke in me a new light of hope, besides from those that I love and guide me every day and do not let me do stupid stuff.. For them, the MiaB, a great kiss.

Mis oidos estaban esperando que Miguel Angel (alias Mike) llegara a mi oficina y me confirmara lo que había escuchado un día por los pasillos de la Universidad, y hoy antes de salir con rumbo a casa esto se hizo realidad. Si que si, el Dr. Claudio Delrieux, argentino, post-doctor en Computación Gráfica, vendrá a mi Universidad a dictar un curso de computación gráfica. Estaba botando babas por montón, esa música sonando y entrando a mis oidos.


Qué veré en la clase? Sencillo! Temas como:


ALGORITMOS BASICOS (Rectas, Círculos, Polígonos).
MODELOS DE REPRESENTACIÓN DE OBJETOS 2D Y 3D
EL COLOR EN COMPUTACIÓN GRÁFICA.
OPENGL
MODELOS DE REPRESENTACIÓN DE OBJETOS 3D.
MODELOS DE ILUMINACIÓN
GRÁFICOS EN TIEMPO REAL.
RENDERING.
RADIOSITY.
INTRODUCCIÓN AL HARDWARE GRÁFICO PROGRAMABLE.
PLATAFORMAS DE SOFTWARE PARA GPU.


Y muchos otros que aun retumban en mi cabeza. Hasta ahí, perfecto, estaba que volaba de la dicha, y el curso es hasta económico, teniendo en cuenta al profesor... Solo $ 200.000! Alrededor de U$D 100!!! Se que no tengo el dinero, pero haría todo lo posible por conseguirlo... Si no es por que Mike me dice que empieza el 16 y acaba el 24 de Octubre! Y yo el 17 debo estar en Bogotá para el TOEFL! Me quería morir!!! *agita los brazos*


Sin embargo, he hecho algunas llamadas, y lo mas probable es que pueda adelantar mi viaje a Bogotá, hacer el examen el 17 y devolverme el mismo día en avión. Faltaría a los dos primeros dias de clase, pero que carajos...! Yo TENGO que hacer ese curso!!!


Me siento tan emocionada...! Veo este curso como una oportunidad, una pequeña luz para empezar con lo que verdaderamente me gusta me mi carrera (Y por lo que veo, lo único que me apasiona verdaderamente de ella). La emoción de hacerlo, mantiene la esperanza de seguir adelante, así como aquellos que amo y que diariamente me guían y no me dejan cometer locuras, y decir sandeces. Para ellos, los MiaB, un gran besote.

Coming back / Volviendo

After discovering that Wordpress sucks (<.<) I'm back in blogger, which is easier to update, counting that I have my Gmail account and is the same crap.

So I'll be posting from here.

Luego de descubrir que Wordpress es una "porqueria" (<.<) He vuelto a Blogger, que es más fácil de actualizar, contando que tengo mi cuenta de Gmail y ambos son la misma pendejada.
